The Buyers Independent Group of Australia (B.I.G.A.) was formed
in 1994 by a small number of independent Members. These founding Members were
represented by B.I.G.A., as a group of Independent Plumbing,
Bathroom and Building Supply Company’s to streamline their purchases collectively,
whilst maintaining separate trading identities within their marketplace.
The Group’s Executive Team is selected and directed by the Group Members and consists of prosperous and competent business men/women who all have extensive business and industry experience. Their aim is to regulate our members and form a strategic alliance with a select number of suppliers who are willing to work closely with the Group to achieve our combined goals.
The Group’s Suppliers
enjoy preferential purchasing status, while our Members enjoy
competitive purchasing, allowing both to gain market share in an extremely competitive
industry.
The Group Membership has National representation, rapidly growing enabling us to reinforce and consolidate our Group’s position within the marketplace. This continuing expansion resulting in recognition in the Industry as one of the most Professional Consolidated Buying Groups.
